That was pretty close to a +8 unit day yesterday, about 47 seconds away from it. I turned off the TV and went and had dinner with the family with the Wings on the powerplay, winning 1-0, and less then 3 minutes left in the game. Turned it back on in OT just in time to see Selanne score the game winner. So an 8 unit night turned a 5.5 unit one.
Sunday nights this time of year can be kind of rough. No late Basketball, no late hockey, one baseball game. I wanted to keep the streak alive, so I fired up some $15 sit-n-go tournaments at PokerStars and raked in another $100. Streak lives.
After a rocky start in the NBA playoffs, I now have hit 11 out of my last 14 games for a profit of 10.7 units. Tonight we have the Pistons playing the Cavs. Opening Over/Under line: 176? Expect to see an ugly as hell basketball game tonight. I can't remember the time I saw a line that low. I expect the Pistons to take care of business at home tonight. They usually start off strong in game 1's, then get full of themselves by the end of game 2. No reason to see this change tonight. Pistons by 15, and the total will squeek into the 180's.
Only 8 games tonight in baseball, instead of the normal 15. Only see one game worth playing, as all the other lines look pretty tight tonight.
